Project Overview
Social Media Strategy Content Plan Creation Collaboration
Challenge
Hybrid Theory wanted to communicate its position as an industry thought leader and expert in their field. With that in mind, they wanted to enhance their presence on social media, increasing the amount of followers and engagement on LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook, in-line with their freshly rebranded look and feel.
“We’re impressed with how responsive they are to whatever we need them to do, whatever the time frame is. There’s been amazing responsiveness and execution on Appetite Creative’s part.” Jessi Koponen, Marketing Executive
Solution
To help Hybrid Theory achieve its digital goals, Appetite Creative stepped in to create and manage the publication of appealing posts under a wide variety of topics such as: Directing followers to Hybrid Theory’s opinion pieces on their website, supported by appealing illustrations and designs created by Appetite Creative; Behind the scenes content called “Team by Nature” in which a series of employees are presented to followers weekly; Announcements of upcoming events; Remarkable dates – such as the 10th anniversary of the company, to which Appetite created a celebratory video. The cooperation between Hybrid Theory and Appetite’s copywriting and social media teams took a collaborative approach, thus allowing the strategy to be efficiently implemented. To better track the performance of Hybrid Theory’s social media channels, Appetite also created monthly performance reports which were presented to the company’s marketing department on a monthly basis with insights, proactive learnings and new ideas.
Results
The implementation of a consistent social media marketing strategy had a solid and positive impact on the company’s digital presence.
The engagement, clicks and impressions of the posts have increased on all social media channels, with LinkedIn being the platform where Hybrid Theory performed the best – with an increase of more than 190% in both post impressions and engagement, and 150% in clicks, compared to the 5-month period prior to Appetite’s takeover.
